The Start

My name is Dalton Foster. My IT marathon started with a trip to Fort Benning, GA, when I enlisted into the United States Army as a 25 Bravo (IT Specialist), passionate and ready for the new experiences ahead.

Today

I transitioned out of the US Army in Jan of 2023 and am now building my experience as a Security Engineer. I push myself to be a success story in my life and thrive under pressure in my journey of life long learning.

Tomorrow

Security is a daily part of my life as I progress in my career. I plan on continuing my degree and certifications while Employed full-time to enhance my knowledge of my overall IT Marathon.

Short Term

I’m currently focused on self-development in security operations. I’m attending SANS to deepen my technical knowledge and working on projects with the Null:404 Security Research Group, as well as our own collaboration group, The Negotiators.

Long Term

I plan to continue developing my passion by collaborating with my research group to expand our knowledge through projects that enhance our ability to address threats.
